Safeguarding covers the range of measures in place to protect young people and vulnerable adults from potential dangers.
Ours Safeguarding Audit provides a detailed and comprehensive review of your current position in relation to both Ofsted Inspection Framework as best practice with the education sector.
The Audit will consider and address the following:
- policies and procedures - child protection and vulnerable adults
- policies and procedures - recruitment and vetting
- the legal duty placed under Section 175 Education Act 2001 to make arrangements to safeguard and promote the welfare of children
- staff development and training policies to support safeguarding policies and procedures
The Audit will typically take place over a 4 day period and result in an action plan to help address any areas of concern, as well as identify and highlight the very good practices that are in place.
